In 2020, amidst global challenges and lockdowns, I, Amrita Singh, founder of Fashostyle Ltd in London, embarked on a spiritual journey that intertwined faith with purpose. Inspired by my devotion to Lord Ganesha and the desire to support our religious institution in Mumbai, India, I collaborated with my parents to initiate the creation of eco-friendly Ganesha idols. 

These idols were crafted from sacred Ramnaam books written by Aniruddha Bapuji devotees, transformed into paper powder, and then molded into paper mache idols using the recycled paper, calcium powder, natural gum, and adorned with water-based colors.

This endeavor not only resonated with our spiritual values but also revitalized our family-based production unit in Maharashtra, India, originally focused on fashion accessories. 

We provided employment opportunities to individuals who had lost their jobs during lockdown, allowing them to learn the intricate art of paper mache idol-making. 

What began as a small project blossomed into a movement, with our idols reaching homes across India.

By the end of 2023, the heartfelt response led to our first global order, extending our reach to the United States in 2024. 

Now, in 2025, we are proud to bring our handcrafted artisan made paper mache Ganesha idols to the UK and EU markets, available for both wholesale and retail.

Our mission is to promote eco-friendly Ganesha chaturthi celebrations, preserve nature, and spread happiness.
